Function

Your role as Transport Trainee

As a transport trainee, you will monitor the transport planning, documentation and communication.

Your responsibilities:

• You offer support in the transportation assignments and coordination of the transport planning.
• You will learn the ins and outs of transportation documents and how they affect the logistics process.
• You will code, sort, check and totalize transportation data and work with specific software such as TAS Qargo, TX Connect and Microsoft Office.
• You communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders, both oral and written in Dutch, French and English.
• You get the opportunity to write and develop your Bachelor Thesis. Your topic is flexible and can be chosen in consultation with your supervisor. You get the freedom to explore your own interests.

Profile

Who you are

• You have a passion for logistics and the transport industry, which you would like to convert into practical knowledge and experience.
• You are enrolled in a relevant course, such as Transport & Logistics Management, Supply Chain or an equivalent domain.
• You’re energetic and driven, you want to fully commit yourself!
• You value integrity, respect and honesty, both internal and external.
• You like taking initiative and searching for solutions. You like practical challenges and you can work independently to achieve your goals.
