Function

Are you our new driver?

For TML Izegem, we are looking for a dedicated Driver C to join our team and deliver high quality floor coverings to our customers.

Your duties:

• Deliver floor coverings safely and efficiently to individuals as well as shops and businesses (+- 10-12 deliveries per day).
• Strictly follow work instructions and work independently.
• Perform a thorough inspection of the vehicle and trailer before departure.
• Prepare the drive, ensure all necessary documents are on board.
• Check cargo safety and condition of goods (quantity/quality).
• Prepare the vehicle for loading and unloading, load and unload like a pro. Move rolls of floor covering from 1m to 4m long, weighing up to 200kg. The vehicle is equipped with the necessary tools (loading ramp + carpet cart + winch).
• Ensure good contact with the planning department. Communicate problems and impediments directly with planning.

What do we expect from you:

• Driving experience - Proven experience as a C Driver with a passion for the road.
• Digital skills - Handy with modern on-board computer, including GPS navigation.
• Valid professional competence and medical examination - Equipped with all necessary certificates for safe and legal driving.
• Language skills - Fluent communication in Dutch and/or French.
• Physical strength - Manual loading and unloading is not a problem for you.
• Reliable and customer-oriented - Your independence, reliability and customer. Friendly attitude will make you the perfect addition to our team.
• Working hours - Departures between 4am and 6am. Approximately 10 to 12 hours a day, 5 days a week - no weekend work.
