Function

Are you a driven driver with a C and CE licence, looking for a varied job with impact? For our branch in Ghent, we are looking for a Driver C/CE who is responsible for deliveries in Belgium and northern France. You will transport clothing to shops and private individuals, and will also be deployed on shuttles within our fashion distribution. Depending on the volume, you drive a C or CE vehicle - variety guaranteed!

Your tasks:

• Deliveries or shuttle work for fashion distribution.
• Follow work instructions and work independently.
• Carry out a preliminary inspection of the vehicle.
• Prepare the trip: ensure that all necessary documents are present.
• Check load safety.
• Check goods for damage/incompleteness and react appropriately if irregularities are detected.
• Manually load and unload using a pallet truck/rollcages.
• You always report problems and impediments to the planning department.

Competencies in the job…

• digital driver's card, code 95 and valid medical clearance.
• Are you flexible and willing to work more than 8h per day.
• Do you speak Dutch and/or French and understand instructions well.
• Does physical work not scare you.
• Smooth working with GPS.
