Function

Are you an experienced transport professional who is in tight control of the entire process - from order to delivery? Do you like switching between planning, customer contact and solving last-minute challenges? Then we are looking for you!

Your tasks:

• Arrange, coordinate and follow up shipments (mainly road freight, sometimes sea or air freight) from A to Z
• Manage daily shipments and sometimes urgent shipments
• Determine cost prices, negotiate smartly and make sure you have the right transport and basic customs documents
• Communicate with customers, suppliers and internal teams to make sure everything runs smoothly
• Swiftly respond to unexpected situations and set the right priorities

What we expect from you?

• Broad experience in forwarding or transport planning
• Languages: Dutch, French, English (additional languages are a nice bonus)
• Dexterity with TAS or similar TMS systems, MS Office and online freight exchanges
• Basic knowledge of customs procedures and knowing which documents go with them
• A proactive, solution-oriented and commercial mindset
