Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for claims management and insurance? Do you want to work in a dynamic transport environment where you make a difference in handling claims? Then we have the challenge for you!

We are looking for a claims & insurance specialist to work from our headquarters in Ghent.

Your responsibilities:

• Handling and coordinating claims from start to finish.
• Maintaining contact with insurers, experts and customers.
• Checking and assessing policy conditions and coverage.
• Preparing claim files and reports.
• Monitoring lead times and ensuring timely settlement.
• Advising internal departments on insurance issues.

In combination with:

• Claiming compensation from third parties.
• Monitoring and managing file costs.

• Experience in claims handling and insurance processes.
• Accurate and solution-oriented
• Strong communication skills in Dutch, French and English.
• Assertive and service-oriented mindset for customer contact and consultation with insurers.
• Able to manage files independently.
• Familiar with insurance conditions and legal aspects.
• Knowledge of transport legislation is a plus.
