Function

• To support the growth of TML in Tongeren we are looking for a flexible and motivated supervisor.

  As operational supervisor, you will manage various teams who, together with you, are responsible for the timely and efficient execution of various warehouse activities and logistics processes.

  Your tasks:

  • Responsible for managing, supervising and operationally leading a group of employees.
  • Ensure that all warehouse activities are carried out within the set deadlines.
  • Responsible for staff monitoring and development. You ensure that the available resources and space are used as efficiently as possible.
  • Ensure that the internal regulations and instructions are applied.
  • Manage the quality level of the performances carried out and make adjustments where necessary.
  • Responsible for all facilities on the site.
  • Study and report damage cases and irregularities.
  • Maintain the daily contact with the customer.
  • Prepare the invoicing, do the checks of incoming invoices and general administration.
  • Track down new opportunities with existing customers, analyse the needs and formulate proposals.
  • Responsible for the daily, weekly and monthly reporting and follow up KPIs.

  • You preferably enjoyed a logistics education or are equivalent through experience.
  • Your insight into logistics flows/operations ensure that you can achieve the predefined results.
  • Your service-oriented mind-set combines with strong People Management Skills.
  • You are hands-on, work proactively and take unforeseen circumstances into account.
  • Your communication and actions are always transparent.
  • Fluent communication in Dutch and English is a must.
  • You can work with MS Office and ERP systems. WMS and TMS.
  • You have no problem being flexible.
