To strengthen our logistics operations in Ghent, we are currently looking for a motivated Logistics Project assistant ready to roll up their sleeves and tackle innovative logistics projects together with us.

Your duties:

• Project support: Work closely with the Logistics Manager in setting up and monitoring various logistics projects.
• Stakeholder collaboration: Engage and collaborate with a diverse team of stakeholders, including IT, Transport, Logistics operations and customers, to achieve project goals.
• Process analysis: Analyse logistics processes with a critical eye to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
• Innovative implementation: Support the implementation of cutting-edge logistics strategies and systems to improve our operations.
• Data-driven reporting: Collect and analyse data to discover trends and bottlenecks, and prepare clear reports and presentations to communicate project progress and performance.

What we expect from you...

• Logistics expertise: A completed academic education in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, and/or demonstrable experience with logistics processes and project management. You combine this expertise with strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems with common sense.
• Excellent communicator: You have excellent communication skills in Dutch and English, both orally and in writing. Whether it's conveying ideas to your team, negotiating with stakeholders, or presenting reports, you know how to effectively reach and convince others.
• Team player: You thrive in a team environment and can work effectively with various stakeholders, not being afraid to present new ideas or tackle problems.
• Technological affinity: You are able to quickly learn and apply new software and technologies in your work, allowing you to operate more efficiently and effectively in an ever-changing logistics environment.
• Analytical ability: You possess analytical skills and can approach complex logistics challenges systematically. Through thorough analysis and a critical eye, you identify improvement opportunities and contribute to the continuous optimisation of our logistics processes.
