Function
Are you someone who takes safety and well-being to the next level?
As a Level 1 Prevention Advisor, you will be the team lead of our prevention team and work strategically to create a safe, healthy and sustainable working environment for all our employees. From our head office in the Ghent Seaport, you will coordinate policy and also take operational responsibility for the Ghent region.
Your tasks:
- Develop and implement the general prevention and well-being policy across all TML sites.
- Coordinate and support the team of prevention advisers (level 2) in their regional activities.
- Supervise risk analyses, audits and action plans and ensure continuous improvement.
- Advise management and supervisors on well-being initiatives, safety investments and legislation.
- Promote a safety culture in the workplace through training, awareness-raising and exemplary behaviour.

What do we expect from you...
- Level 1 prevention advisor diploma (or in the final stages of completion).
- At least several years of experience in a coordinating HSE role, preferably in an industrial or logistics environment.
- Strong communication skills in Dutch and French. English is an advantage.
- Ability to set priorities and translate strategic objectives into action.
